Discovery is designed for people who want to know who they are and what they are made for. Have you been expending a lot of energy but going nowhere fast? Do you crave for purpose and a realisation that you are in God’s will? You may discover you have been on the wrong road for your true destination or alternatively receive confirmation and encouragement that you are in God’s will serving for example as a mother, father or carer. Discovery is not about telling you what God’s will or plan is for your life. That could be wrong, misleading and getting in the way of the relationship God intends for you to have with him. It is however a coming together of you with fellow Christians to engage prayerfully with God, His Word and with each other in discovering answers to these questions. God has a design for your life and ministry. You are unique individual who was made to be you and not a copy of someone else or their ministry. Discovery is aligned to the Word of God. Discovery is a 7 week programme and tools to help you engage with God; to thoughtfully reflect and consider who you are and what you were created for. The answers you may find will depend on your ears, eyes and mind being open to what God shows you. Your future will depend on what you do about it. Discovery will provide an opportunity for you to share what you have discovered with Church leadership and find ways of developing and serving God. |
