Planted in the House

Getting Pasteurised in Green Pastures...

The vision is only as powerful as the cause it is attached to. A vision can be personal but a cause is bigger than any one person. Our cause is Christ and we are here to build His church. It’s hard to imagine anything more rewarding than spending life building what Jesus said He would build - His church! God has a kingdom and that kingdom works like any kingdom works, with proper authority, structure and leadership. He has established a structure under which you as individual with talent and ability from God, together with your own personal devotional life will flourish.

The bible says in Psalm 92v13 “Planted in the house, the people flourish”. It is our desire for Green Pastures to be like a green house, where even the weakest and most damaged of plants will flourish and do well in Christ. To understand spiritual authority is to understand proper spiritual covering and protection under which people of all ages can stream and flourish together. Healthy things grow. Knowing that God honours this spiritual covering is essential in discerning proper and improper lines of authority which will bring His people into that lovely togetherness and agreement in His church family.

The word “agree” in the new testament means “symphony” - in other words, each person in the body of Christ has a distinct sound, has a distinct place, has a distinct function and when we come together in one accord, we make a sound like a symphony as we work together in harmony and God loves that sound and loves to bless. When everyone is knit together in harmony it’s beautiful but when a sound comes in that is out of order, out of harmony with other sounds in the house, it causes confusion and disruption. That confusion affects everybody, lack of understanding and disagreements affect everybody in the house. It is true that everyone has a right to an opinion but its not always right to give it and we believe that you will never come second by putting God first. So, when we stay in harmony, when we stay together in agreement we make a sound that will go out all over this land for Christ.

‘By this will all men know that you are my disciples, if you love one another’.

In denominations and nations its hard to communicate everything to everybody and so we hope that ‘Catch The Vision’ will help everybody to understand our heart, our intentions and the excellence in which we endeavour to bring glory to God here in Green Pastures. This love is extended to you no matter what belief or background you may have and it is incredible to think that before the foundation of the world God may just have planned to bring you and I together for such a time as this, to knit together for the purpose of building a church that is both numerically large and spiritually deep and available 24/7, where people of all ages stream and flourish together, amongst those the lonely and broken can find mercy and belonging.

Our greatest joy is to see people who have found new hope in Christ then become a vehicle of this life to others, devoting themselves to God’s purpose, equipping and encouraging ordinary people to live this dream of an extraordinary life in the power of the Holy Spirit. Great churches aren’t build on the gifts and talents of a few but the sacrifices of many. We in the leadership of Green Pastures ask ourselves continually, can people flourish under our leadership? If they can’t then why would they stay planted?

This is His Heart, this is our purpose and we hope that you will be in harmony with us as we knit together God’s purpose for Green Pastures under which you and your family can flourish. We are not on this earth to mark time we are here to make a difference, so get on the journey. You can change the future.

Without a vision the people perish - Catch That Vision.
