We are already looking forward to Sonshine Eleven running from Saturday 2nd July 2011 - Sunday 10th July 2011. It's never too early to get the week booked off work! Sonshine Week is our annual week of outreach and events based in our local communities. It is about breaking down the four walls that can often contain 'church' and getting out into our villages, towns and streets. We have been called to 'let our light shine before men so they may see our good works and glorify our Father in Heaven' - that is exactly what SonShine Week is all about! We can never guarantee the weather but we know the Son always shines! This is an amazing opportunity for you to really become that 'bigger frying pan' that we have been learning so much about church! The week kicks off on Saturday 2nd July with a bang as we take over the bandstand GP style! The worship team set up and blow away any cobwebs in the town with amazing worship, we will be handing out invites, free coffees, our famous free hugs (always popular!), puppet shows, pampering and prayer. We will be easy to spot if you are in Ballymena - just look for the bright green bibs! Each day consists of absolutely crazy Kids' Clubs, Kingdom Kids Summer, Revolution Youth events, iReach as we get out and about cleaning, picking up litter, mowing lawns, painting walls, fixing fences and generally showing God's love in totally practical ways! Mum's get some 'me' time at our Coffee Mornings, as the team serve tea, coffee and treats and the Beauty from the Heart girls provide some well deserved pampering. Our creche facility runs alongside creche so total peace and relaxation is guaranteed as the little ones have fun with the team in creche! It doesnt stop at night time either as each evening is packed full of amazing events for you to get involved in, get along to and bring people to! From fun nights to football matches to tea partys, we really have thought of something for everyone! The week ends on a high with SonShine Source, 6.30pm at Green Pastures, the people's church.
