A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life. She selects wool and flax and works with eager hands. She is like the merchant ships, bringing her food from afar. She gets up while it is still night; she provides food for her family and portions for her female servants. She considers a field and buys it; out of her earnings she plants a vineyard. She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks. She sees that her trading is profitable, and her lamp does not go out at night. In her hand she holds the distaff and grasps the spindle with her fingers. She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy. When it snows, she has no fear for her household; for all of them are clothed in scarlet. She makes coverings for her bed; she is clothed in fine linen and purple. Her husband is respected at the city gate, where he takes his seat among the elders of the land. She makes linen garments and sells them, and supplies the merchants with sashes. She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her:  “Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.” Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.

Proverbs 31

Lorraine Wright

Green Pastures Church

Lorraine has been an Executive staff member at Green Pastures Church since it’s launch in 2007. She is passionate about seeing women encouraged, equipped and released into their identity as warriors, daughters,  and princesses, who have a key role to play in the Kingdom of God. It is her desire to see every woman raised up to live out this life as an awesome God adventure, knowing their potential, fulfilling their purpose, loving God, loving people and loving themselves!

She is a gifted communicator, teacher, and storyteller, lover of the Word and lover of Jesus. She brings the truth of the Gospel with both laughter and tears in a way that can relate to everyone who listens.

This is her eighth year heading up Passion Conference where she loves it when the girls get together and she can’t wait to see you all in February! She is so privileged to be able to provide a space for you to encounter God, both for the first time and for the “just in time” moments.

She is married to Pastor Jeff and is mum to her three awesome kids, Stacey, Adam, and Jack as well as Ted the dog (rumored to be her favorite child!). Buy her some chocolate and she’ll love you for life!

This year Lorraine is expectant for, conference and excited about what God is going to do.  She asks that you support this year in prayer:

“Not every girl who comes to Conference has it all together and life is great…for some this really is a massive deal for them so can we pray that those girls who really need to be there have the courage to sign up, that we will be bold and invite the girls from our world who would just flourish in that environment . Pray for our amazing volunteers (and staff)….Passion Conference would just not happen without them, they turn up year in year out and I love that they get to be part of the turn around stories for many of our delegates.  Passion2018 will really be a significant one for every single wee face that shows up this year.”

Nicole Reyes (Smythee) is a gifted and dynamic communicator, who travels and speaks at churches, conferences, and events around the world. Her desire is for millennials and young people everywhere to experience the radical love of Jesus Christ and passionately pursue His plans. She also encourages women to discover their true identity and purpose as they follow Jesus with daring faith. Bold, funny, and transparent, Nicole preaches the Word of God in a compelling and relevant way, leaving people encouraged, challenged and inspired.

A few years ago Nicole became an author, co-writing Survival Guide For Young Women with Holly Wagner. Nicole is currently working on her second book and writes articles featured regularly at www.nicolereyes.life and devotionals featured at You Version.

Nicole pastored at Oasis Church in Los Angeles for 14  years  and has led in a number of different areas of church life since she was 19 years old. She currently resides in New York City as the Teaching Coach at Liberty Church and Director of Liberty Foundation, a global missions organization pioneering local churches globally.

She regularly speaks and consults with church staffs and leadership teams. One of her greatest joys is investing in and equipping leaders within the Church!

And when Nicole is not traveling around the world, she loves to spend her time hanging out with friends and family. She loves to laugh, and is always up for new adventures! Nicole is tone deaf and also a bit challenged when it comes to basic athletic coordination. She is a closet nerd, who loves all things comic books, Star Wars, Star Trek, and Lord of the Rings. She also happens to think dogs are superior to cats in every possible way. Even if she runs out of logical evidence, she will never back down from her position on the whole dog vs. cat debate.

And that’s about it. Now you know a little bit more about Nicole Reyes.
